Being new to the Linux, we next intreebare, that I want answered even if you might be slightly naive. I installed a kiwi (Near Windows XP) and I want to install Wine you've already downloaded on your hard drive. To prevent further criticism of the use of XP, I want to say that using a drawing program such Acad (free) who knows only Windows and I thought that I could use it as kiwi and then I could give the win XP. So, being in kiwi linux, I installed Wine directly on hard because I have internet connection for. install it on the net. What to do? Thank you in advance
It seems naive question at all.
From my point of view, the easy installation that does not require an Internet connection is the source. So, first of all be made to the Wine source. Here is found the source for Wine:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/wine/files/Source/
Save this file on a stick for example, or on a CD and then copy it on the machine that you installed Kiwi Linux. It should be like: wine-1.1.28.tar.bz2.
wine-1.1.28.tar.bz2 tar xvjf
It will create wine-1.1.28 directory.
cd wine-1.1.28
Have launched the following commands:
. / Configure
make depend
make
make install
So that would be to install Wine from sources that I think should work.
Bonus!

I ask because I can not install only firm support (software activation) and if I go not a big problem
Thanks
@ Dan I run applications created in Visual Basic and fox in the wine, so I would not be a problem. However, you should try installing a demo version of software for safety.
